The surgeon evaluates the entire forehead region, including upper eyelids, paying attention to the muscles. The surgeon will have one make a series of facial expressions so they can best see exactly how to help you. Pre and post procedures exist for this procedure well. For instance, if one smokes, the surgeon may ask to stop temporarily. Avoid alcohol and certain medications. Some drugs can cause increased bleeding.
